About Steve Houghtaling

Steve Houghtaling serves as a Senior VP of Product Engineering at Belcan. Steve has been a key figure in the engineering community for decades and is a charismatic and inspiring thought leader with executive engineerng experience at Belcan, UTC Power, and Hamilton Sundstrand. At Belcan, Houghtaling heads the Engineering Solutions Team developing Belcan’s overall strategy to advance their Product Engineering Solutions to the next level. Steve’s motivational strategies drive his teams to consistently surpass their corporate goals and provide outstanding customer service.

Steve Houghtaling leads an active life outside of the office as well. He is a longstanding volunteer for Boy Scout Troop 2020 in Vernon, CT, and an annual presenter at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Hartford Chapter awards banquet. Steve has an affinity for classic cars and is the owner of 3 antique model Fords. His Ford Model A Convertible Sedan has won an award for excellence. Houghtaling is the Vice President of the Connecticut Model A Restoration Club and the Vice President of the A400 Group. He lives in Connecticut and is the father of two children.
